News & Reports

Big pot for Heer

Pav Heer gets it all in pre flop with A Q and finds himself in big trouble against Peajmaan Khosrowpour’s Q Q
The ace from space pops up on the turn though and Heer gets the double up to take him up to around 27500 whilst Khosrowpour is down to 13150.

Hughes - Out

Carl Hughes was knocked out with a fantastic call on the river by Ben Chisholm, winning with Ace High on a board of 6 J 6 6 4

Hughes showed KQ to Chrisholm’s AQ

Brice and Amrabadi racing

Pre flop A Hussain raises to 1200 but behind him Christopher Brice moves all in for 5225 and Amir Amrabadi calls.
Hussain is forced to fold and shows AJ before Brice flips over Q Q which is in decent shape as Amrabadi has already seen one of the cards he needs for his A K go in the muck.
It’s all over by the turn as 7 6 4 Q J make a set of queens for Brice and he’s back in the game.

Fouracre gets some chips.

David Fouracre’s Kings doubles through his opponents QJ to take down a 12,000 pot.

He calls with all his chips on the flop when his opponent puts the pressure on him.

Final board: 10 Q 9 10 A

Sepanji going strong

Mustafa Sepanji looks to have around 75000 which would make him our chip leader at the moment.

Trouble's Garfoot

With the board reading A K 4 Q, Mustafa Sepanji bet 3000 into a pot of around 5000. Geoff Garfoot moved all-in for a further 11500 and Sepanji went into the tank. He had Garfoot comfortably covered but the call still represented a big decision with the blinds at just 200/400. He eventually made the call with A Q, a surprisingly modest hand given the board and the action. Garfoot shrugged his shoulders and exposed his K Q for a worse two pair. Garfoot needed a king to win with a full house but it was Sepanji who boated up when the A rivered.

Steven Craig all in

Steven Craig moves it all in pre flop with A 9 but he is in big trouble against Steven Basri’s A Q
10 3 5 2 5 are no help and Craig is out.

Dring Doubles.

David Dring doubles up while on the big blind when he goes all in after the small blind makes a raise.

The small blind shows pocket 6’s while Dring tables KQ.

With a flop of J A Q, Dring looks in pretty good shape and with his opponent failing to hit a 6 on the turn or river, Dring doubles up to 9,000 chips.

We are without peers

Alan Peers got it all in pre flop holding 8 8 versus Alistair Findlay’s 9 9
There was no help for Peers and he now also heads for the exit

Level up

Blinds are now 200/400 with a 25 ante.
