Action on table 5

After Nigel Green min raises under the gun to 1200 and Zachary Ford calls, the action really starts to heat up when Anthony Corolla moves in for 6200 and then Patrick Kelly re-raises to 15000 from the button. After Green gets out the way, Kelly is surprised and dismayed to see Ford move his entire stack in for a bet of 33350 total.
It’s 18350 more for Kelly to call and he’s getting good odds but after some agonising he decides that he can find a better spot to get all his chips in and he folds.
Ford shows A K which holds up against Corolla’s A Q on a board of 3 A 8 A 4
Kelly will be wishing he had taken those odds as before the dealer starts he announces to the table that he’s folded pocket 8s.

James Macauley - Out

Macauley, holding AQ flopped top pair top kicker on a flop of Q 3 5. He bet out and was raised for the rest of his chips.

He made the call and his opponent showed pocket 3’s for the set.

Macauley fails to improve and hits the rail.

More action

John Morgan announces to the table that he has no intention of being blinded away and moves all in for 10775. Luke Hallinan has a long think before sliding the chips in for a call and we have a race.
Morgan holds 7 7 versus Hallinan’s A K
An animated Morgan watches 10 6 5 4 J safely fall and he’s back in business

More woe for Morelli

Three players paid 3k to see a flop of K 8 5. The big blind checked and Robbie Morelli bet another 3k. Christopher Brice called and the big blind folded. The turn Q was checked by both and Morelli fired 4k when 6 hit the river. Brice called and showed K 2. Morelli mucked furiously.

Heer on a roll

C Ooi moves all in with his pocket 9s but finds himself in terrible shape against the kings of Pav Heer. Heer upgrades to a set and Ooi is out. Heer is up to around the 40,000 mark.

The Brice is right

Christopher Brice raised to 1500 and Alan Vinnicombe moved all-in for an additional 6800. Brice thought for a while and said he hope Vinnicombe had a small pair before calling. Vinniconbe obliged with the smallest pair of all, 2 2, and was racing against Brice’s A T. The board ran out J 7 5 T 8 and sent Vinnicombe to the rail.

Stewart - Out

F Stewart’s 89 was no match for his opponents A9.

They got their chips in pre-flop.

Final board: 7 A 6 7 8

Greenwood all in

Zachary Ford raises from the cut off and when Mark Greenwood moves all in from the big blind, Ford is priced in to make the call with Q 4
Greenwood’s A Q is a big favourite to start with and he also sees two more aces pop out to confirm his double up. He moves up to 6700 now.

Phen wins a monster

Five players paid 1500 to see a flop of 9 8 6 on table 1. The big blind, H Phen, led out for 3k and Robbie Morelli raised to 6k. The other three players got out of the way and Phen called. The turn was 2 and Phen instantly moved all-in for 12k and Morelli, who had him covered, called almost as quickly. Phen had a flush with K 4, which was bigger than Morelli’s T 9 flush. Morelli needed the 7 on the river to win with a straight flush but the Q left him decimated. Phen scooped a pot of around 43k.

Level up

The blinds are now 300/600 with a 50 ante
