Apologies for the slight delay in the last few reports, some Internet problems but we seem to be back up to speed.

Another scalp for Maudlin

AT against A3 sees off David Anstice – 12th place for £1850

Woods exits in 15th place

Dave Woods, editor-in-chief of PokerPlayer magazine makes a shortstacked shove with A8 unsuited from the button and the small blind quickly re-raises all in over the top with AQ.

No other callers and a queen on the flop with another landing on the turn sends Woods to the rail for a £1450 prize.

Mike Cummings out in 16th

He cashes £1350

Our first flop for a while

After a few raises pick up the blinds, James Dempsey raises to 22,000 in middle position and Neil Blatchly calls. The flop is A T 9 and James fires out 35,000 in pink chips. Blatchly folds and James shows his ‘small set’ – pocket aces.

It’s all very cagey.
