Maudlin out in monster pot

Dave Maudlin exited to the rail in 8th place for £2600 when he moved all in pre-flop following a raise from Neil Blatchly.

Blatchly raised to 44,000 from under the gun with the blinds at 8000/16000, and it folded round to Maudlin in the big blind who re-raised all in for 218,000 more.

Blatchley dwelled up for a while whilst the count was made, then after a short pause, called.

The turn is a 4 and it’s checked. The river brings an ace and it’s checked to Dempsey who bets 35,000 and is called. Dempsey shows K5 and Vedhara mucks.
