Rutter v Nutter

Tom Rutter raised to 32k in early position and Spence Lawrence moved all-in from the big blind. Rutter quickly called for his remaining 111k chips with Q Q. He had caught Lawrence “at it” with just 9 7. The board ran out 2 2 5 A 8 and Rutter doubled up to take the chip lead. Lawrence is down to 50k and in trouble.

Maudlin All-In

Steve Milton limps in on the cut-off for 12,000, perhaps a peculiar play, and Dave Maudlin on the button quickly moves all-in. Milton passes 6 6 face up and Maudlin comments that ‘that’s the first time you’ve showed….. so…’ before turning over the symetrical but very much ahead 9 9

James Keys wins another pot

James Keys limps in on the button and Young raises it up to 12K in the big blind. Keys then re-raises Young to 30K and Young makes the call.

The flop reveals 4 8 8

Its checked to the turn which is a 4 where Young checks it to Keys and he bets out 45K.

Young passes and Keys gains a pot worth 60K

Howe-ch

Rupinder Bedi moves in under the gun for 71,300. Richard Howe thinks before calling with A Q which is in big trouble against K K The flop of J J 9 doesn’t bring the ace Richard needs but the turn of 3 gives him the nut flush possibility. A blank 7 on the turn doubles up Bedi to 150,000 however.
