Rupinder Bedi raised to 40k in early position and it was folded around to the short stack, Gordon McArthur, in the big blind, who pondered before calling. The flop was A Q 2. McArthur moved his remaining chips in and Bedi quickly called. McArthur was drawing very thin with Q 8 against Bedi’s A Q. Turn K river 2 and McArthur goes out in 9th. He pockets £3,000.
