Gala Casinos Poker Tour - Nottingham Day 2 - Final

News & Reports

Brownout

Brian Brown got it all-in pre-flop with 4 4 against the A K of James Keys. The board ran out A 2 5 7 8 and Brown becomes another early casualty.

Kev smith next.

A short-stacked Kev Smith gets all his chips in pre-flop, one other player calls.

Smith shows 8 10 and his opponent shows AJ

The flop of 4 4 9 does not help Smith but a 10 on the turn gives him the lead.

A cruel Ace on the river knocks out Smith.

Richard Haile is first out

And as I write there’s also been a second elimination just a couple of minutes into the start of play. Details to follow.

Colclough gets out the wrong side of the Bedi

A big pot is brewing on table 5. With around 60k in the middle Rupinder Bedi moves all-in for 19k with the board reading J K 4 6 6. His opponent, Dave Colclough, asks for a count before making the call. Bedi flips over A K and a dejected Colclough flashes a king as he mucks. A relieved Bedi is up to 100k and Colclough is back in trouble after his late surge on day 1A.
