Rockin' Robin

On a K J 2 flop Robin Yiltalo checked to Steve Perry who bet 6k. Yiltalo raised all-in for an additional 14k and Perry made the call with K 9. Yiltalo had Q T for an open-ended straight draw. He didn’t have to wait long to hit it as the A fell on the turn. The meaningless river was 5 and Yiltalo doubled up.

Wu marches on

Start-of-day chip-leader Colin Wu raised to 7k in middle position and Robin Yiltalo re-raised to 19k in the small blind. Wu re-raised to 40k, which put Yiltalo to a decision for most if not all of his chips. He thought for so long that the clock was called. He finally folded and Wu scooped a big pot risk-free.

Tricky Dicky

P. Scott raised to 7k from the small blind and John Dick wasted little time re-raising another 18k from the big blind. Scott thought for a long time, telling Dick it was the first big hand he’d seen in a while. Dick told him to push his chips in if that was the case, but he eventually folded. Dick invited Scott to turn over one of his cards: 7. He then invited him to turn over the other: 3. Scott’s head sunk.
