This section contains some practice hands to help you develop your skills in identifying the nuts. You have to identify the nut hand in each case. Is it hand A or hand B?

  Board Cards

A   B

In this example hand A is a set of Queens (three Queens). But here the nut hand is held by the player with hand B, who has a Seven-high straight: 7-6-5-4-3.

  Board Cards

A   B

Here both players have made a straight. However, the Queen-high straight in hand A (Q-J-10-9-8) beats the Jack-high straight in hand B.
