Rake Race Terms and Conditions

  1. Starting September 1st 2007 through 9 months to May 31st 2008, all players who have opened their Full Tilt Poker account through www.thehendonmob.com will be ranked on a leaderboard by their net rake on a monthly basis .
  2. Net rake is calculated as the sum of all rake paid in cash games, plus tournament entry fees, minus any negative revenue associated with the account. For more information on how rake is calculated please check the rakeback FAQ.
  3. You consent to the publishing of your screen name and leaderboard placing, if within the top 100 players, on www.thehendonmob.com. No personal information will be displayed.
  4. The leaderboard winner each month will be able to play a series of up to 4 heads up matches against each of The Hendon Mob, until he/she loses a match or has beaten all 4. The times and dates of the matches will be arranged as required by The Hendon Mob but we will endevour to make them convenient for the winner. All matches will be played on Full Tilt Poker. If the leaderboard winner succeeds in winning all 4 heads up matches against The Hendon Mob, they will receive a payment to their Full Tilt Poker account equivalent to 100% rakeback for their winning month. This is in lieu of the usual 27% rakeback payment.
  5. The leaderboard winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the result being announced. If they do not respond within 14 days of being notified of the win they may forfeit their right to the opportunity to play The Hendon Mob as in 3.
  6. The top 3 players on the leaderboard each month will be entered into a tournament (WSOP freeroll) to take place on Full Tilt Poker during June 2008 where 1st place prize will be a $10,000 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event entry + $2,000 expenses. The tournament will be held at 8pm UK Time (3pm Full Tilt Clock) on Sunday 8th June. No cash awards will be made as an alternative, however if circumstances beyond our control make it impossible to award this prize, for example if the buy-in is raised for 2008, an alternative prize of equivalent value may be given.
  7. If any of the monthly top 3 players have already won a seat in the WSOP freeroll, the seat will be passed down to the next highest ranking player. There is no limit to how many times this can happen, for example if the top 6 ranked players have already won seats, the 7th, 8th and 9th ranked player that month will gain entry.
  8. All players who have won entry will be notified by email to their Full Tilt Poker registered email address. It is the players' responsibility to ensure that this address is valid and monitored with suitable anti-spam settings. Neither The Hendon Mob Ltd. nor Full Tilt Poker are liable should notification of entry not be received due to circumstances beyond their control.
  9. We will endevour to give as much notice as possible to all entrants but no alternative prize will be offered if the chosen date and time for the tournament is not suitable for any entrant.
  10. If a player's account is suspended at the time of the tournament or closed between winning entry into the tournament and it being played, that player may forfeit their right to entry.
  11. The tournament winner entering the World Series of Poker Main Event accepts and agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions:
    1. It is the individual winner's responsibility to ensure that all travel documents (passport and visa, as required) are in order and to obtain any required travel and medical insurance. Lack of proper travel documents may be grounds for disqualification. It is the winner’s responsibility to book all travel and accommodation. Players must be 21 years or older to compete in the World Series of Poker.
    2. By entering the WSOP Main Event players agree that their real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes by The Hendon Mob Ltd. and Full Tilt Poker and will wear apparel (hats and/or T-Shirts) provided to them by The Hendon Mob Ltd. or Full Tilt Poker.
    3. Awarding of any and all prizes is at the sole discretion of The Hendon Mob Ltd. and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
    4. Subject to the provisions of rule 11.3 above, the winner of the playoff final can not sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer such seat to another person, and The Hendon Mob Ltd. / Full Tilt Poker will not award cash in lieu.
    5. The Hendon Mob Ltd. / Full Tilt Poker shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a Package as a direct or indirect result of accepting the Package and participating in the WSOP.
    6. LEGALITY, INFORMATION DISCLOSURE AND TAXATION OF WINNINGS: Full Tilt Poker respects and guards its participant's privacy. However, there may be circumstances in which disclosure of information to regulatory or fiscal authorities is necessary or desirable, and Full Tilt Poker reserves the right to release information in such circumstances. Please note that Full Tilt Poker cannot advise on the tax position of winners, as some jurisdictions treat poker wins as tax free, while in other jurisdictions such proceeds are taxable. If the winnings are taxable in your jurisdiction, you are solely responsible to keep track of and report your winnings to the appropriate authorities. Likewise, Full Tilt Poker cannot advise on whether the playing of poker over the internet is lawful in your jurisdiction. You must establish that your participation on Full Tilt Poker is lawful in your own jurisdiction.
  12. There are no costs to players for participating in this promotion, however, if you wish to opt-out in order that your screen name is not published, please email support@thehendonmob.com from your Full Tilt registered email address. If you opt-out you will not be eligible for any prizes.
