In the face of some very stiff opposition in Reading and DTD Luton have yet again managed to produce another fantastic event.

In total 188 entries have created a fantastic Prize Pool of £37,600 with the top 20 getting paid and a first prize of £10,905. The full payout structure is listed below.

No chip counts through from Flight 3 as yet but no doubt Michelle will have them listed as soon as she arrives.

So far 41 players will be returning today plus the survivors from Flight 3 to do battle for the 20 spots getting paid. At the moment the man to catch is Mahmoud Chehade on 164k but in fairness they are all pretty much bunched up in chips so a lot of play today. Full chip counts with Flight 3 still to be added are lited below. The breakdown so far is listed below.

Summary of flights:-

Flight 1 (Friday 7pm) – 80 entries (inc re-entries) - Amount collected £16,000 - 24 players through to Day 2 - Average stack 83,300
Flight 2 (Sat 12 noon) - 49 entries (inc re-entries) - Amount collected £9,800 - 17 players through to Day 2 - Average stack 72,000
Flight 3 (Sat 7.45pm) - 59 entries (inc re-entries) - Amount collected £11,800 - TBC

So play for the Final Day will commence at 12 noon and Michelle will be on hand throughout the day to bring us all the action as the tournament progresses. We hope you can join us for what will be an interesting day's poker.

On a weekend with lots of options for players, Luton ended up with a very respectable 188 entries, making a prize pool of £37,600.

Huge congratulations go to Ellie Biessek who has outlasted everyone and takes home the title, trophy and £9,025. Also, very well played to Vikrum Mehta, our runner-up, who also took home £9,025.

Thank you to all the staff especially Ruben and George who ran a great tournament. Thanks also go to the dealers and the valets, who have all done a fabulous job.

Well done to everyone for making this another great event in the London region. The next leg in London will take place at the home of Poker which is The Poker Room @ The Vic on the weekend of July 17th-20th 2014.

Please note that there will be a change to the Day 1 flights just for this leg at The Vic:

Flight 1 – Thurs 17th July 7pm
Flight 2 – Fri 18th July 7pm
Flight 3 – Sat 19th July 12 noon

Day 2 will commence at 12 noon on Sun 20th July.

That’s it from me tonight. Thanks to everyone for following the updates again. I hope you all enjoyed them. I’m having a break from the updates for a few weeks as I’m travelling to Las Vegas for 2 weeks of guaranteed sunshine and poker!

The next 25/25 Series event is in Stockton next weekend. As always updates will be available on www.aworldofpoker.com.

Thanks and good night
