Playing 4 card hi Omaha at the Empire last week.

35Q66 on board.

Dealer declares AQ the winner with two pair Q's and 6's, correct me if i'm wrong but how does he have two pair?

He only has a pair of Q's right?

Even if the board was 3QQ66 the AQ would still only be trips, not full house.

Other hand was 35, anwers please.

I dont know/play PLO that much but to make 2 pair i'm sure you have to use both cards from your hand! so yea you are right all the AQ has is pair of Qs, the 35 should have won!

was anything said at the time! was the floor called??

Errr.

2 cards from his hand: A Q
3 cards from board: Q 6 6
= 2 pairs Qs over 6s

OP is right that on 3 Q Q 6 6 board that AQxx just had trip Qs though.

I'll be keeping this post in mind if I'm on your table in another HendonMob PLO game. Wink

(I hope for his sake the floor wasn't called... eek!)
A-Q-Q-6-6 .. definitely wins over the 6-6-5-5-3
