Poll: what buy in would you like to play in the next league?

Hi,

Following recent interaction on the forum, i'd like to ask you all what you would rather play in next month' leagues.
Whether your happy the way it is now, or if you would like some more interesting stakes, let us know what you think!

Prefer $10-30 buy-ins.

Understand most games need to be NLH but as many mixed/alternatives games as possible plz.

The micro low buy ins haven't felt right to me.

If the prize is worth winning I believe you would get more people playing too, as even if they can't or aren't likely to get in the prize winning posisitinos in the league they will still play for the "on the night" prizes.

$10 is a good buy in amount IMO, not too high but still creates a decent prize pool.

prefer a buy in around 10-15 dollars no freerolls as this brings out the trolls thanks

I know things change but seriously can't we just have the core elements in place which made the previous leagues so good:

Single Buy-In value ($10+$1 always seemed perfect to me.) - the $1 just doesn't work for me.

Variety of games balance 50/50 with NL Hold-em. (And I'm a NL Player).

Overview of the entire season - 30/40 weeks, would appreciate season end freeroll value adds for
Iron-Man (25/30 Qualification), Monthly winners, Top 20/30/40 players
+ anything else you want to throw in.

Appreciate monthly prizes, etc.

Previously we had pages for leaderboard, detaila on league for season + hall of fame - can we have this back. Dedicated pages are better than multiple threads. Obviously kept the weekly threads for the specific information, if you want players to post.

Also:

How about some bounties added - it would be amazing if you could include these - this made the last leagues fun. The 'prizes' don't have to be massive either - just added interest. How about you guys joining in as bounties - chat to the players, create some connection. This is what made Joe, Barney and Ross great.

Perhaps Liv/Jake/Others could be convinced to be a bounty and answers questions from players in real time rather than be given a prescribe list to answer.

Could also add in some 'special' tournaments for regular league members - can't decide if this should 'count' towards league points - probably not but perhaps counts towards any iron man qualification (i.e. as a 'bonus' rather than the total).

If you can deliver all of the above for both the FTP & Stars leagues - it would be awesome and I would be very very happy. Can't say the same for my wife.......

It generally wasn't broke - so please don't fix it.

Depends what the owners want from this really

1 to 10 buy in with freerolls in my mind will only attract the leeches who will play for the added ticket value but contribute zero to the forum(as has already been the case)

Myself i played 1 game in week one, found the structure to not be to my liking so have played no more
also each individual game needs a decent prizepool imho, then people would play even if they had no chance of bagging free tickets come week three or four

And without an ongoing update league it all seems a bit pointless

as for game types, i think it should be made up of 75/25 holdem/other

so my vote is $10 min and maybe 10 posts per week min to qualify


oh and any rudness in chat = instant ban from the league

long and short indy i dont really give a toss about the league! as its not being run well atall, wheres the leader board?
my point is that the new owners seem more intent on filling the place with new banners and QnA sessions with a non entity like Liv 'unfaithful' Borree, so why should i care about how much the league entry is.
