So I recieved this message from RPP yesterday but didn't have time to reply until now..

Please try and keep your response civilised. I just noticed that only only posted a sarcastic reply to my question in a post.

Why did you feel like you had to go out of your way to check wether or I was English and living in Australia, I'm curious to see how you think that concerns you.. IF I was lying, how does that effect you?

And the same really for writing to ptp.

I understand your looking after the site, but at the end of the day dave, some things in life just don't concern you.

This message and these questions aren't argumentative so please, if you are going to take the time to write back, please give a proper response.

This could turn into a wordy post but lets try it...

Point 1)

I am generally quite civilised but like most people I have moments where I make neanderthals look modern. That being said, I am wondering why you feel entitled given your history here to never have a sarcastic remark made about you or one of your posts?.

Point 2)

Well there was a few reasons that go back over your entire history both here and on PTP. First off, and I am sure you remember this, when you first joined you had a different account. I found it an awfully huge coincidence that you stopped posting on that account (which looks to be your usual name on other sites as well) to start posting on this account very shortly after a staking request went wrong.

Also add in the fact that your problem at PTP occurred at the same time and you were claiming not to know how any staker could be left out of pocket with a staking arrangement. Yes I am fully aware you are claiming for everyone to hear that you spoke to the staker and everything was all cool and it was just a Black Friday issue but theres one major thing that sticks in my craw about that explanation... The stake was awarded on the 19th Feb 2011 and your staker even immediately posted in the rail thread saying good luck. You have zero posts in the rail indicating no play, but you were unable to return the stake because of an event that happened 2 months later? You say the backer was aware and happy with everything that was going on, yet he still reported you for DNS* which you are also unable to explain.

Even if your version of the above PTP story is true, it was obvious when the staker had gear shipped on you that he wasnt happy with whatever had happened/not happened it still took you the best part of a year with several reminders in your various new staking threads to get an amount as small as $2.50 sorted.

As to why all this concerns me, why I felt the need to check up on you and write to PTP?
Again there are multiple reasons for this... 1) I dont like people stealing from my friends. 2) As someone who has been staked for 99.99% of my poker career, 'bad apples' can affect my bottom line either by backers deciding they have had enough or by me having to reduce my cut to compensate them for losses to people like you. 3) What the hell else am I going to do at 4am when no-one is about to talk to and I got a bunch of adrenaline going through my system from this deep run or that final table...

Point 3)

So you ask my friends and myself to send you money when you have history of things not being as they should but its none of my business... Ok....

The staking system is self-policing - that's why Pizzi does what he does. Because he takes it seriously and is vigilant. He doesn't investigate random people saying 'hi, here's my hand history, help?' For these he more often than not posts whatever help he can. But when it comes to staking he puts his sheriff hat on, like the whole staking community should.

As for Stowjon, of course history matters. And he's got a squeaky clean one. And full transparency and ownership for small amounts or large.

Pizzi, has done a top job in doing so, ( as for my post about it being shocking!! i said that as you asked for $$$ then did not go out your way to get it paid back on time.....given your past! yes i know it was only $2.50 but thats not the point!! you should have made sure you could pay it back on time! and with the know how!

as for Jon, guys on here know him and have played poker with him! and not only that not so long ago he won 8K and paid everyone out that had a % the very next day!

if i ask for $$$ of anyone i always give a day that i will give it back to them and i make sure they get it on that day!!

P.S Pizzi you are doing a fine job mate keep it up Very Happy

It's not about $2.50...

It's about him taking a stake, doing nothing with it and then avoiding the issue for 18 months despite obvious requests from the staker (via reporting for dns etc).
