why are the points in 3 groups? i really dont think that its fair as your alienating players who cant afford the $30 buy ins with $20 r/b's by giving the people who can higher points to play for

I'm leaving this one to you guys lol. I've emailed Gary to look at future point scoring. If you finished 7th every game would you expect to be in the top 6 of the league? we'll check the points at the end but I dont think you would. Just doesn't seam right.

This is something we've always done, it rewards the players who play for the whole series, and with the prize pool being Guaranteed, it's important that we reward the players who play at the 'business end'. Its rather tlike rankig points, you wouldn't expect to get the same ranking points for a £100 side event as a £1000 Main Event.....

Re: Points structure;

We've actually flattened it considerably Vs the LVTCIII Team Challenge, if you take the top 10 payouts for say a Round 9 tournie with 200 to 250 players....

LVTCIII:
1st 6750, 2nd 5000, 3rd 3375, 4th 2250, 5th 1800, 6th 1500, 7th 1300, 8th 1000, 9th 800, 10th 550

TVC:
1st 6000, 2nd 4500, 3rd 3600, 4th 3000, 5th 2400, 6th 1950, 7th 1500, 8th 1050, 9th 800, 10th 700

We'll keep it as we've now punlished and if it needs changing for LVTCIV or TVCII then of course we will do.

Re: Tournaments being on a Thursday, remember you can play on Mondays also, your best score of the week goes towards your points total.
