Genting Poker now has new improved software!

I have the software open for hours (have it open while working ) and if I dont use it for any period of time it never disconnects me and I dont believe it is a feature of the software to do so.......

Along a reconnect but different line... since the software upgrade, everytime I try to deposit- at least 3 times (laugh if you like and i keeeeel you) Genting disconnects and reconnects several times. This is after clicking 'moneybookers/skrill'. Gives me 'security of deposit' jitters. The deposits have gone through fine, but they all include at least 3 'waiting while your connection to Genting is re-established' type messages.

edit: 'my account' says I have a depositors freerol token valid until 2025-12-31....can this be right?

Just a small thing, but the "hide full" button unticks itself every time i start up (but the stake selection button does not).

It makes me have to click it, which is clearly unacceptable as it delays my table selection by a nanosecond.

Played my first Genting Mtt since the new software tonight (daily dollar), and in truth my first mtt in a long time. Ran deepish (50 odd out 1000) but I got booted off about 6 times during the tournament. It came up as a Playtech not responding error.

Could of been a fault with my laptop, but never had this on any other poker site before with this laptop including my previous little experiance with Genting.

Other than that, I'm liking the new software alot, and will only play there in future if I can resolve the crashing problem!

Is the system updating since 9pm or something? Booted from 20:00 4kG twice now - once with message and this last time just ' ooh I have AhKh!' quick cut to black and the Genting program snap closes. Let me back in right away - (after I'd sit out folded the hand of course) aargh...

I ask about updating because 1st time I logged back in there were loads of updates, and this last time there were a couple updates as well.

Playing the 200k last night (nice run Joe - never got to your table ) I got booted more times than I could count.

The first time, my pc froze completely until I shut down ipoker via task mgr, then it just switched off...one second my screen is full of tables, lobbies etc then nothing. Was quick to come back on once re-entered site but still long enough to miss at least one hand, some of which I would be involved in at the time. Every time I re-entered the site I got a burst of updates first.

Is this a problem that has already been identified and if so when is the fix coming?
