You can see how many points you need to earn for VIP levels in the 'Genting Poker Points' section in 'My Account'. They are refered to as 'Status Points'.

Regarding Sign Up Bonus and VIP Bonuses
The Genting Poker Points are removed from your account each week but this does not affect your sign up bonus. The bonus is released based on the number of points earned, rather than your current points balance.

Bonuses are worked off in the order you recieve the bonus. So on sign up and deposit you will have 3 months to work off your Sign Up Bonus ($5 per 500 accumulated).

During this time, if you are playing to the required levels you will receive your monthly VIP bonus. This is a mixture of real cash and Bonus $ depending on your VIP level. You have 12 months to work these off and you can back them up whilst earning your sign up bonus (this change is effective Dec 1st 2011). The VIP Bonus $ are earned a lot quicker ($16 per 100 points accumualted) than the Sign Up Bonus and in most cases can be completely retreived within a few days depending on your level of play.

You may request your sign up bonus to be removed if you wish, simply contact the live chat team , however we would like to stress that there is no disadvantage to keeping the sign up bonus. Yes It does delay you earning your Monthly VIP Bonus $ straight away but it will have no financial impact in terms of your bonus.

The welcome bonus can be removed immediately by the chat team on request if you really wanted to get to the VIP bonuses quicker but as you now have 12 months instead of 3 to earn the VIP bonuses (and you can back them up) this isn't really necessary.

1. Sign up bonus is added to your account as soon as you make your first deposit and is paid automatically when you complete a 500 point chunk

2. Monthly Bonuses are paid within 72 hours of the VIP level change which is generally carried out by the network operators on the morning of the 1st of the month.

3. Bonus $ are automatically released when you complete each required 100 point chunk.


Regarding Sponsorship Dollars
For all Hendon Mob players Genting Poker Points(iP) have zero cash value. They are only used to calculate your VIP level and can not be used for anything of value. iP balances are set to zero each week.

Q: if i use $430 sponsorship $'s to play genting poker series main event at the Fox does this mean i can only keep 1/2 of any cash?

Can I ask a couple of quick questions please on sponsorship dollars:

1. If I used myrewards to enter a £100 GPS event that is a re-entry what happens if I bust out using our combined entry then re-enter off my own back? Do I keep any prize money for the re-entry or does that need to get split 50/50 too.

2. I don't imagine this is possible but how would you feel about 4 people combining £107.50 of myrewards each and agreeing to enter just one of them in a £430 GPS event? As usual any proceeds would be 50/50 with Genting.

Logged on tonight to find a pop-up window 'congratulations on your prize of euro xx. I also had my VIP wicked-easy to release bonus in 'my account' (all aside from my sponsor $ of course).

So, love the horse, not checking its teeth, but I don't understand how I'm getting the 'prize' cash and I'd like to so that I can work on trying to get more next month.

I'm sure I missed the explanation somewhere - ?
