Regarding the lobby issues (which are seriously rotten now that stats/more can't is just as screwed up) - it occurs to me that long before the late reg addition we were all experiencing lobby issues as I remember chat back and forth with many players about trying to sort it by closing lobby for five minutes etc.

Just reviewed this thread from the beginning and some of the gripes still being mentioned are 4 to 5 months old??
I like playing on Genting but in no way would go back there as a preferred site until these issues are resolved - Seriously how long does it take?? _________________ If i want a monkey i get a monkey! |

As much as I like the support provided by Genting overall (including Gary sorting the dosh for WSOP nice and speedy ) I feel this issue is just getting swept under the carpet because the guys at Genting just have no idea where to turn to get this sorted out. Can someone give us a statement to let us know how far down the line we are with this?
Thanks |

Agree with AK, some aspects of Genting put other sites to shame; however others don't. It would be good to get list of the outstanding actions, someone from Genting indicate if this is a Genting or iPoker issue and what is being done with estimated timeframes for resolution.
Issues I remain aware of;
a. lobby rarely reflects an accurate reflection of who is left in a tournament, chips stacks are typically wrong.
b. auto rebuy feature is not reliable (not sure how bad or frequent this is)
c. when you type a comment in chat box, if someone is all in, you lose your comment and have to retype it.
d. Stats/more option which was previously a work around for the lobby is now unreliable.
e. Flash player conflict with other apps causing Playtech errors. I am unable to use hand replayer until this is fixed.
f. when you get thrown out of a tournament and have to wait to get back in. This only happened twice recently to me, but was irritating as others can exploit the problem.
g. payouts in a rebuy are £0 until end of tournament, then paid. This only happened to me the once, but apparently it is a known problem. |

DUE FOR FIX 29TH MAY
b. auto rebuy feature is not reliable (not sure how bad or frequent this is)
NOT AWARE OF THIS BEING AN ISSUE STILL, IT WAS, BUT WAS TOLD IT WAS FIXED AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMPLAINTS FROM PLAYERS FOR SOME TIME, PLEASE SEND ME EVIDENCE / PRINT SCREENS.
c. when you type a comment in chat box, if someone is all in, you lose your comment and have to retype it.
YOU CAN'T COMMENT IN CHAT WHEN PLAYERS ARE ALL IN, HOWEVER, I DON'T THINK IT SHOULD DELETE WHAT YOU TYPED, I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS ISSUE, WILL RAISE IT WITH PLAYTECH NOW.
d. Stats/more option which was previously a work around for the lobby is now unreliable.
29TH MAY
e. Flash player conflict with other apps causing Playtech errors. I am unable to use hand replayer until this is fixed.
I DON'T THINK I AM AWARE OF THIS, IS THERE AN ERROR MESSAGE OR ANYTHING YOU CAN GRAB / PRINT SCREEN?
f. when you get thrown out of a tournament and have to wait to get back in. This only happened twice recently to me, but was irritating as others can exploit the problem.
I AM TOLD THAT THIS HAPPENS INFREQUENTLY NOW, HOW LONG IS THE WAIT, DOES IT AUTOMATICALLY TAKE YOU BACK TO THE TABLE?
g. payouts in a rebuy are £0 until end of tournament, then paid. This only happened to me the once, but apparently it is a known problem.
CORRECT, 29TH MAY POSSIBLE FIX.

All,
As much as I'd like to, and as much as I have asked Playtech I cannot issue a definitive statement about when issues will or won't be fixed.
However, there is a new release due for 29th May (ish), which is 'believed' to fix many of the issues above. I have made some comments in line with the items above.
Hope it helps!

Gary,
I was fuming last night as a cpl of players (cptgee pokerwolf, StGilmore) will confirm. AGAIN i played a tourney on genting and made a call based on the fact there was 103 players left with only 63 getting paid when i was knocked out in the said hand i got a message saying i had been eliminated in 73 place! had i known this i 100% would not have made the same play. Your company is fantastic but your sever is SH!TE and costing people money. I choose to gamble against other gamblers on your site, i dont choose to gamble against your server being right or wrong! trust me if i had to call my life savings on the fact that your lobby was correct or incorrect then i think i could comfortably BUST GENTING!
Edit: we still love you and your staff Gary _________________ "There's not enough hippies to save our lives, We need more hippies" |

The adobe flash upgrade which caused the problems with Genting was fixed by another flash upgrade this morning. This seems to be an example of something totally outside your control, so please scrap this from my list of outstanding issues.
I can confirm Stowjon was fuming last night, HOWEVER, he deserves every iPoker bug/system crash you can develop personally under his account for a link he sent me last night. I couldn't sleep with visions of the image he had sent, he needs help! |

I can confirm this. In fact I went out 18th in a omaha rebuy yesterday with 15 paid (flopped nut fh to runner runner nut fh ) but the lobby read there was still 22 left. Luckily I opened up both tables to manually count how many were left. Obviously couldn't do this is there 73 left like in Stownjons scenario. _________________ Master of Puppets I'm Pulling Your Strings!

it was the $5 $2k or the $5 r/buy £10k i cant remember which it was as i was playing both and cash.
Pretty sure it was the first of the 2. But tbh I should have know better as i think this same problem has probably cost me over $100 of buyins from various tourneys! _________________ "There's not enough hippies to save our lives, We need more hippies" |

Let us hope and pray that the lobby issues are inded fixed on 29th May
Jon et al, the only way I have found of getting round the problem of how many players are actually remaining in a tournament, is to scroll down the lobby player chip counts until I get to those that have busted and show $0 (or whatever they have been paid). The last player busted reveals the actual number left in.
Doing the above does leave you with, for example, player out 73rd for $0 with the player above showing eg. 168th with 130 chips, then 167th with 225 chips etc and it is this number (168) that is shown as remaining in the lobby summary with the average stack calculated accordingly.
Once you can see how many players are actually left in you can then scroll back up and see how many chips the next few live players actually have. It is really clunky and annoying, especially if you are involved in more than one game or site, but it is the only reliable way atm of seeing what exactly is going on.
Roll on 29th May (ish) _________________ They seek him here, they seek him there, those Fishies seek him everywhere. |

I tried to do this last night - i would double click the name of the person with the shortest stack and check if they were on their table. A lot of the time they weren't, so you are in the dark still.
I close down and reopen during breaks.
Of all the whizzy things internet pokerz can work out, you'd think working out how many people were left in would be one of the easier parts! _________________ @oneshotbobby on twitter |

Bit annoyed just a few mins ago with an Ipoker update. To do that it seemed to throw everyone on the network off. I was in the middle of a pot in a cash game as the aggressor and when I finally managed to get back in the pot had gone elsewhere and I wasn't able to check what happened. _________________ Master of Puppets I'm Pulling Your Strings!
