Joe Hart so close at the end. If only we had played the previous 135 minutes like the last 45.
Oh well all or nothing for City and United. |

i was praying you went through. now its a good old fashioned shoot out at the ok corral. ideally we want tevez back as the disruption he causes plus the inflated opinions of journey man striker faileotelli means it ends in bottle job anarchy for city(#nothingchanges) _________________ The next best thing to gambling and winning is gambling and losing.

TBH we can do no worse with Tevez back so happy for him to come back. I think the next matches give Utd a 4 point advantage (Bring back AVB) |

You reckon Platini will divert his hatred of the English game towards the Spanish now, as they're starting to 'dominate the market'? _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

I am not so sure about Spanish teams dominating the market......depends how you look at it. The PL is still ahead in terms of the wealth of all of the clubs combined and United are still the club with the highest total value at £1.4 billion. Real and Barcelona may be second and third but the rest are well behind and we have something like six clubs in the top thirteen.
Technical ability and success on the pitch is another story though but we are hardly slouches in that area ourselves. We have had a CL finalist or winner every year since 2005 except 2010 including an all English final and seconds away from a second consecutive all English final. The Europa League is simply not financially lucrative enough to warrant our teams treating it seriously as it gets in the way of far more important PL games.
This lead to Mick McCarthey once saying that if Wolves were in danger of qualifying for the Europa League through the UEFA Fair Play system then he would personally go onto the pitch and start kicking the opposition. _________________ Poker columnist at www.poker.co.uk |

Its because manchester united are the most famous team in the world and are in the best league in the world. Who the F**K would want to watch the la liga bullshit week in week out. Like a posh scottish league. _________________ The next best thing to gambling and winning is gambling and losing.
