It's early days, but jeez City do look good. Like plenty of people are saying it looks like Mancini has stopped being so cautious and they are going to take some stopping. |

Bring on the rules forcing clubs to be financially sustainable.
Why are Spurs fans booing Nasri? Between him and Fabregas they've finished Arsenal's season before it's started. Should be cheering him. |

Yeah they look really good. It'll be interesting to see as the season goes on though. I seem to remember Chelsea starting so good last year at the start and everyone was tipping them to win it and look what happened. Although the difference is City have far more quality going forward than they did.

It would have been the perfect rule maybe 20 years ago or so? But it won't make a difference now i don't think. And i'm expecting the big clubs to find ways around it and getting higher sponsors than they'd get without this rule. ie city stadium rights was 100 million or something? |

When did the rule about names on shirts change? Hernandez has has his nickname on his shirt for a while now. Or is it more than a nickname? _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

its a shame really. watching that and feeling guilty. it was like watching an old fighter take one fight too many.
i agree with wenger's philosophy and respect his determination. it would be a massive shame if he was got rid of and probably end the amazing run arsenal have had as a top 3 team.
i dont want to go back to the days when we did not win the league for decades but also i think the money at the top has to be sorted out. somewhere in between would be just fine.
i dont like to see this happen to footballing sides. i dont think any footballing fan does.
i was at the game where we won 6-1 and it was against a really good arsenal side. it felt genuine. this felt like beating up your kid brother. _________________ The next best thing to gambling and winning is gambling and losing.
