We'd be saying, "aw, c'mon, at least make it plausible" if this was the ending in a film.
Bet that guy with the tattoo was pleased! _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

unbelievable. good old joey barton. i guess the writing was on the wall when city scored a second and the rangers bench was celebrating. looks like i wont be able to visit my family for a season at least.
can i just say that nial quin was a terrible player, worse manager, even worse "made up post for god knows what reason", but he really has saved the best, as it were, till last. he is the worst commentator i have ever seen on anything ever. he even beats the irish guy.
its the start of a dynasty is it? a bit like arsenals, chelseas, newcastles, blackburns. beating a very weak champions side with the last kick of the season on goal difference does not say dynasty to me. dallas or falcons crest maybe.
time will tell and you cant really begrudge shitty this. they were the better team over the season.
and as for indie. most shitty fans said they would not win in it in their lifetime. they cut it fine with the old fella but at least he got to see it _________________ The next best thing to gambling and winning is gambling and losing.

Nial Quinn himself is Irish. You need to be clearer (and use capital letters). |

Did Barton just get the one red then? Can you give a second red for further violent conduct? I know you can for refusing to leave the field (I think the record is five reds) but could he have got 3 reds today? _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

| Quote: | He tweeted: “Can do nothing but apologise to the players and the fans.
Still don't think its a sending off. Tried to take 1 of their players with me....
“Still not my proudest moment but who gives a f---, we are safe..........and that is all that matters.
“The head was never gone at any stage, once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take 1 of theirs with me...” |
i would of given city the trophy there and then to see company give him a hiding. _________________ The next best thing to gambling and winning is gambling and losing.

You can only be sent-off once. A referee might show a red card (not supposed to) again to get the message across but he'll just report it as misconduct.
If he could be shown more than 1 red he would of had a 15 game ban; he's already had one red card for VC so first one would be 4 games, 2nd 5 games and 3rd 6 games. I'd imagine he'll get 6-8 games. |

The five reds card guy I mentioned got a 35 game ban. I know Gordon Strachan was show two reds once, once to send him off, another win he refused to leave the field (reserve game I think) _________________ Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici |

Yeah.....reports growing on Sky Sports News that he is leaving. Personally I think this has been waiting to happen for while. For a side like Villa to finish 2pts above the drop is bad enough but the owners probably thought that he would win the fans over eventually which he never did. Although he could have done this with results but Villa have been poor this season compared to recent seasons and the fans on his back have made things worse.
Villa fans will be happy as they really never wanted him because of his Brum connections and the Birmingham fans will be happy to see him fail as well.
Just got my breath back after yesterday.......what a day......I am not anti-United but really pleased for the City fans.......they have suffered enough over the years. _________________ Poker columnist at www.poker.co.uk |
