Rock Of Ages. 9/10
Just got back from seeing this today and out of the shows ive seen so far its by far and away the best.
Justin Lee Collins & Shane Ward are both really good but not the main leads. The show has a corney story and great songs JLC is a shadow of the man he used to be and has lost sheds of weight. The cast members are fantastic especially ZiZi Strallen who is just about the most FIT female ever (A definate mouther for those familier with the Stowjon lady grading)
The only thing i will say is that they should make people more aware that it is age 14 advisable rather than waiting until your sitting in the theatre with your 10yr old! it was a little racey for under 14/15's but id paid for the seats and we had travelled to london and he was looking forward to it and i didnt see it as fair once we were in our seats.
IF you see one show then see this one!
My next show is SHREK on Thursday will report back. _________________ "There's not enough hippies to save our lives, We need more hippies"

just bought all my prom tickets and wil report on the ones i go to. to anyone who is uninitiated you can by prom(ming) tickets. this means standing tickets on the day for a £5. they are no on pre-sale so if you get there at a good time on the day you will most probably get in. i think about 1400 on sale on the day. you can book in advance and some are upto £50-70 but you can get some very reasonable tickets for £8. _________________ The next best thing to gambling and winning is gambling and losing.

SHREK: I went to see Shrek last night 'starring' Kimberly (girls aloud) Walsh, like Indy i was well impressed with the costumes and the set's were pretty amazing the dragon was especially awesome.
BUT
The 'main' cast i felt left alot to be desired Richard Blackwood who played Donkey would be well suited to a summer season on clacton pier Kimberly Walsh should stick to being in a girl band and not trying to make her Bradford accent sound American. the guy who played Shrek done a great job as did the fella who played Lord Farquaid.
I went to this show with very high expectations as there is so much hype surrounding it but i must say i was very dissapointed, the grand finale i felt robbed me a bit due to the fact that the 'star' of the show Miss Walsh never even took part and never even came out to take a bow with the rest of the cast.
IMO the price of the tickets for shrek could be better spent going to see another show. That being said my Missus said she just liked it and 10yr old son said he loved it.
The highlight of the show for me was the douchebag and his girlfried/wife who obviously thought they were going to the opera as he had the full dinner suit and she wore a huge ball gown type thing and were seated right in the middle of a group of about 50 cub scouts in there full cub uniform MASSIVE LOLZ for the over dressed!
I was also seated next to Kara Tointon for the tube ride back from Covent Garden to Cockfosters but i had no idea who she was untill we got off the tube and my missus told me! she was ubber fit though!
Shrek 5/10 (Quite generous 5)
Rock Of Ages 9/10
Thriller 5/10
Railway Children 7.5/10 _________________ "There's not enough hippies to save our lives, We need more hippies"

Singing in the rain 8 out of 10
Top hat 7 out of ten
I enjoyed both shows, only down side was little seat legroom, but show was good. Can't go wrong with a bit of tap dancing and a sing song.

Just been to see We Will Rock You this afternoon, and was well impressed, Curly Watts from olden days corrie was the only 'name' in the show.
i must say it was pretty dam good.
Maybe a bit controversial but i didnt enjoy it as much as Rock of Ages, and the clunge was no where near as bang tidy.
the sets were great and the singing was good aswell.
i just think ROA has everything better story, funnier, better clunge, better singing and better sets.
