Is Lewis Hamilton just a massive liability? I've been thinking this for a while. He was a breath of fresh air at first but now he acts and drives like a brat.

Yeah that was comical stuff from Mr Bean, had me in stitch's this morning Mr. Green

Even though the race itself was pretty meh I thought this new Indian track was fantastic, much better than some of the dull designs of the newer venues, and the fans really added an extra dimension to the whole weekend as well, they seemed to embrace the spirit of the thing a lot more than the Koreans or the Turks, and some of those pit lane girls were simply drop dead gorgeous, which was nice.

I'm still pissed off that Sky have muscled their way in next season, I don't care what new gizmo's and gadget's they are inevitably going to overload their broadcasts with, nothing can top what the beeb are doing imo, the Humphreys/Coulthard/Jordan/Brundle combo is pure quality, the pre and post race coverage is 10/10 and there is no adverts, the whole thing is pretty much perfect and will be sorely missed if this is the last season it continues in this format.

btw Indy why is this not in the official F1 2011 thread? Very Happy

Sky team for next season

Full Team: Martin Brundle, David Croft, Antony Davidson, Steve Rider, Georgie Thompson, Ted Kravitz, Simon Lazenby, Natalie Pinkham

So what does that leave the beeb with? Sky saying covering all GP's and no ads in race. I thought they were sharing it with BBC.

Sky are showing all races live, the BBC will show half of them live. Apart from Brundle and Croft that's a poor line-up imo.

Brundle will be missed for sure, especially for his pre race grid walk but personally I thought he was better as a No-2 commentator adding colour and technical info rather than as the main man, I wouldn't mind seeing Karun Chandhok fill some of Brundles role, he's articulate, witty and knows his F1 and always good value when he has been on the red button coverage of practice and qualifying, also Lotus don't seem that keen on him anymore so if he can't get another seat then this might be a great opportunity to keep involved.

It will be interesting to see if the beeb get the same amount of access to the teams and drivers next year, I doubt it somehow, and I still can't believe the sponsors (both of the teams and the tracks) are happy that Sky are taking over the main coverage, surely the audience exposure they will get will be a fraction of what it was on the beeb.

And wtf does Georgie Thompson know about F1!
