I have the first 6 episodes of Luck on my planner and not got round to watching any yet. After hearing it's been cancelled is it worth watching series 1 anyway or just delete them?
Feel like deleting as if it's not that good then no loss and if it's good I'll be annoyed it's been cancelled!

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was a show a few years ago that was cancelled after 1 series but I'd still recommend watching it to anyone as it was good and the last episode even ended in a way that could be a proper ending.
What I'd hate to do would be to watch Luck and the 1st series has cliffhangers or any kind of good set up for the 2nd series.

Some series are better not wrapped-up: Lost, Ashes to Ashes, Sunset Beach etc
The last minute desperation angle to leave open the possibility of another season are generally the best endings e.g. Angel and Twin Peaks.

It's the only Sorkin show I haven't tried. I really like and recommend Sports Night, two seasons and it can feel a bit dated but very likeable. I watched the first four seaosns of The West Wing recently, very impressive. It changes very suddenly when Sorkin leaves, not to my taste.

I really like Aaron Sorkin's stuff. West Wing was great and I liked Studio 60. Films he's been involved with have tended to be great as well - A Few Good Men (originally a play that he wrote), The Social Network, Charlie Wilson's War, Moneyball.
This is his new tv show coming in June and I for one am a tad excited -

Yes, very much looking forward to that. Also Armando Iannucci has gone American, his series Veep is upcoming. Also Judd Apatow is back in television after ten years with Girls. I expect at least two of these to be classics.

The Newsroom is bad, Veep is okay and I haven't watched Girls yet but it's reckoned to be very good.
