Micah Richard's has been immense when I've seen him this season. Would pick him for England head of a fully-fit Glen Johnson on current form.

Saw today that City have the best ever Premiership start after 11 games. Who knows what will happen with the rest of the season, but a great record.

Thought for the day, Manchester City have a goal difference of plus 29. This is equal to the combined goal difference of Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Shocked

have to agree with this, especially after today - city looking really strong (on the pitch, if not financially) - says a lot when you can leave Silva on the bench!

Had a fiver on Mario and a 3-1 win at 22 to 1, desperate for Ant N Decs boys to get a goal at the end. Dance

This made me laugh, poor Tevez.

"I was kind of in a bad mood and when he brings on (Nigel) de Jong and takes off (Edin) Dzeko and we're losing 2-0 I thought it was a defensive substitution so I decided to sit back on the bench.

"I had already warmed up for 10 minutes and he has this attitude that he wants to lose 2-0 instead of 4-0. So I sat down and at the same time Dzeko comes off and is really angry and has a go at Mancini. He then sees the tunnel is closed so he has to sit down next to him and they start to have an argument.

"Dzeko was speaking Bosnian and Mancini would swear at him in Italian so it was a real mess. So I go and sit down and he doesn't see me because he's having this discussion. But then he turns around and sees me and you can imagine what happens.

"He's in the middle of an argument so then he tells me to keep on warming up and treats me like a dog. So when he spoke to me in that tone of voice, and I said 'No, I'm not going out'. So I was willing to play, but the coach was in such a foul mood because he had that argument with Dzeko. Mancini said some horrible things to me."

Knowing my luck, Tevez will start playing well and then the Falklands will kick off and our three Argentina players will pack their bags. Rolling Eyes

Mancini did lie about the incident by claiming that Tevez refused to play.

He refused to warm up which means he doesn't wanna play, or am I missing something?

Obviously wasn't a lie, at the time Mancini believed that Tevez was refusing to play.
If Tevez had just done what his boss told him the none of this would have happened, claims Manicni was in a foul mood( yes as we were losing 2-0 and he was already dealing with Dzeko) so why make it worse?
In the cold light of day I think both could have handled the situation better, but no one else wanted to buy him so think City should now make use of him.

Nothing will happen in the Falklands.......we have around a thousand troops there unlike about two dozen back in 1982. We have state of the art Typhoons and extra warships are already being sent. Thing is though that its a technical victory for Argentina simply based on how much money they are making us spend. Wouldn't bet against Argentina fuelling all of this with absolutely no intention of invading just to put pressure on our defence spending at a time when we really can do without it the state we are in.

Our top brass know that getting them back would be very difficult now with all the defence cuts made since 1982 and so the only way to protect them is to deter invasion and that means a large enough military presence.
