Jimmy had a much better average than 2-1, his problem was the 1 were a lot more vocal. What I don't get is the board reacting to threats of falling attendances if they kept JC on, last time I saw a <6000 crowd for a 1st team game was when we were whoring Todders out to ICT in '04 with us as the 'away' team.
Before you think I want JC back, I don't - don't think he deserved the punt though - , he did well with what he had to work with at the time, doubt he'd get as much joy now. However, Dingus needs more backing from the board if he's to succeed, and he won't get it hence is the wrong man for the job, his excuses about a small squad don't wash with me, it can be done as long as it's a balanced squad, 7 strikers don't matter if our one and only full back is injured.
I've seen the highlights from last night with the main stand all cheering MM on and I think there's a lot of nostalgia in there as much as anything, I'd like to think that if the board put their faith in him he'd turn it around but the future's dull IMO |

What's the solution then do you think? I'm surprised you're backing McGhee so much I didn't think he was that popular and some of his comments after games are bizzare to say the least _________________ Nil Satis Nisi Optimum |

But in the main, fans are behind him. There's been a huge upswell though since Sunday, and this seems to have been sparked by the attitude of the west coast media, who have been drooling at the thought of McGhee going, Tuesday night, Scott Davie in particular was an absolute disgrace on the radio.
Also, McGhee's reaction to questioning, both before and after the ICT match, and again on Wednesday morning, was nothing short of brilliant, totally inspirational, we'll see if the players can follow him now.
Anyway, confirmed he is staying, your call will be interesting on Saturday, I imagine Jim Traynor will hardly be able to speak thrtough the tears of disapointment

Always is, surprisingly enough your call keep ignoring my questions about why they put someone who so clearly hates us into our ground every week

Success, no. Stability, yes. A Staggie mate of mine fancies him to replace Adams, be interesting to see how that plays out. |

Whatever it was losing to them should have gone a long way to redress the balance Even worse is that if ICT are playing their game is on 92-95 over here, I have to make the extra effort to fire up the net and listen to his jabs online |

"And the Dons' announcement came a couple of hours after the SPL decided that all the weekend's fixtures, including Celtic's visit to Pittodrie, were being postponed because of the severe weather."
Seems a bit harsh to blame him for the weather? |

Not a bad appointment at 70 though it's not exactly looking to the future. They need stability i suppose and Smith wasn't exactly young when we brought him back.
I'm sure Archie Knox will go down well up there _________________ Nil Satis Nisi Optimum |

I'm sure Archie Knox will go down well up there | It is a worry. Apparently Leitch was the main issue with the McGhee era, because he was too much of a c**t and lost the players.
The solution - bring back Erchie in Leitch's position to be a c**t Nae sure how that's going to work?
Nevertheless, Broon is a solid if unexciting appointment, let's see how he gets on. |

two rounds in row, can we just not play the 90 next time and just start in injury?
Also, forgot I'd written this, same mate is now delighted, although Indigo Sun in Inverness are reported to have run out of fake bake
