perhaps but you havn't exactly suffered much due to his absence from injury have you
and the point remains, the squads do not compare in quality at this moment in time |

well, i must admit i thought kaka going to city was hyper boil at first, but....it looks as though the % of him going there is going up daily.
with all the contract 'clauses' reportedly going into the deal, i am left to wonder if the relegation 'clause' will be in too. buy him for £120 million lol. get relegated and sell him for £30 million ?
how much is it going to take to get city as serious title contenders,
they need a keeper, petr cech £50 millionish
a couple of centre halfs, terry and vidic? £80-100 million for the pair, throw in a right back another 30 mill there,
a couple of midfielders, perm any 2 from 30 probably another 100 mill there, a decent wide player, ronald(oh), 200 million,
a couple of world class forwards, possibly tevez, as hes unsettled (if you believe the papers) say 60 million, and one other, there goes another 50 mill,
then you need some good squad players, another half a dozen there so add, 200 million there,
thats £810 millionish that needs spending, recoup 20 millionish to get rid of a dozen or more carthorses, currently slogging their way down the league, and it gives you a rough idea of whats needed there.
if the owners get bored and leave, city can sell them all for heavily reduced sale prices after they go, and they should be financially stable for a decade at least.
imho, kaka will not go to city, they will end up with someone of darren bents qualities for 40 million lol. _________________ If you dont know your rights, then you dont have any. (Freeman Philosophy) |

Couple of questions being asked about Clichy at the moment. He's not having his best season though I still rate him in the top 3 left backs in the EPL.
Now if they'd give us 40 million for greedy I would be happy...... |

Was talking about his wage demands.

City signing De Jong and Hijacking Arshavin.
Am sure we'll have a 17 year old African who is eligible to play for France in the wings as back up............. |

Bullard to Hull can't see the point, surely he can get a bigger club? |
