Mahargh wins a small pot with bullets
Saleh Mahargh called on the button, Wass Shahid folded the small blind and "Skullman" Gerald David declined his option in the big blind. "Skullman" checked a flop of TSpades 9Diamonds 8Clubs and Mahargh bet 30k. "Skullman" called. The turn was the KSpades and "Skullman" checked once again. Mahargh, who had "Skullman" well covered, moved all-in and "Skullman" quickly folded. Mahargh tabled ADiamonds AClubs. Dangerously but pofitably played!

More chips for Ford
We have seen some unusual folds here today and we've just had another. Wass Shahid had 120,000 in front of him and raised from mid position to 49,500, leaving just 70,000 behind. A re-raise came in from Zachary Ford to 110,000 and everybody else scarpers. Shahid takes little time in also releasing his hand and he is now on the critical list

Wass Shahid doubles up
Wass Shahid goes all in for 70K pre-flop with 10:club: 8Diamonds. G Rodger calls with A 6. The board goes Q Q K 6 10. The river saves Shahid and he doubles up to 130K.

Abolins abolished
Gala Poker online qualifier Luke Abolins moved all-in under the gun for 122k and "Skullman" Gerald David called in the cut-off with black tens. They were in good shape against the ASpades 9Diamonds of Abolins. A board of 6Spades KHearts QClubs 7Diamonds JSpades improved neither hand and Abolins is the first player to depart the final table.

75K pot to Alistair Findlay
Alistair Findlay and "Skullman" Gerald David bet all the way to the river on the board of 10:spade: 3Clubs KDiamonds 7Clubs 3Hearts. Findlay reveals A 3 and David shows the fourth 3 but didn't turn over the other hole card. Findlay takes 70K pot.

Ford motoring
Saleh Mahargh and "Skullman" Gerald David limped in late position, Alistair Findlay completed the small blind, and Zachary Ford checked his option in the big blind. The flop was JDiamonds 9Hearts 4Spades. It was checked to "Skullman" who bet 40k. Ford was the only caller. Turn 2Clubs and river 5Clubs were checked down and Ford tabled QSpades JSpades for top pair. "Skullman" mucked.

Rodgered
G Rodger moved all-in for 44k in middle position and was called by "Skullman" Gerald David in the big blind. Rodger's black queens were in good shape against "Skullman's" KDiamonds QDiamonds. The 9Diamonds 7Hearts 4Spades flop was good for the all-in player but the KSpades on the turn left him drawing to the one remaining queen. The JClubs on the river sealed Rodger's fate and he exits the tournament in 8th place, collecting £3,000 for his efforts.

Shahid all in
Wass Shahid moves the last of his 43,500 chips in and Alistair Findlay calls from the button. Lee Birchall looks for a moment as though he might be interested but dumps his hand.
Findlay shows first and has JSpades KSpades . Unsurprisingly he's not ahead - Shahid has AClubs 4Spades and he is pleased to see 9Clubs 6Diamonds 3Spades QClubs 8Clubs which doubles him up.

Ford crashes
Zachary Ford raised to 45k in the cut-off and Saleh Mahargh re-raised all-in for an additional 189k in the big blind. Ford told Mahargh that he had folded in a similar situation a few rounds earlier but was going to look him up this time and tabled 6Spades 6Hearts. A coin flip at best and best this was not since Mahargh had TSpades TClubs. The board fell QSpades ASpades 4Diamonds 9Diamonds QHearts and Mahargh's hand held up. He scooped a monster pot and put a severe dent in Ford's stack.

Ben Chisholm wins an inconsequential pot
Ben Chisholm limped under the gun and it was folded to Lee Birchall in the big blind, who declined the option to raise. Flop 3Spades 5Hearts 8Clubs and turn 7Diamonds were checked by both players. Birchall bet 28k when the 9Clubs fell on the river and Chisholm called. Chisholm's ASpades 9Spades was better than Birchall's QClubs 5Diamonds and he picked up a small pot.
