The game finished 21-0 to bama. I took home a nice amount personally with the bama win + under 40.5 _________________ #whenwillitend |

Just backed Mickelsen at 40's for the Open.......will be gobsmacked if he isn't shorter than this at some stage during the tournament. If he's in contention going into day four then he could be 4's or less and trading back out will be the play.
Westwood at 17.5.....very tempted to lay him but hate laying high prices. Has a touch of the Andy Murray's about him to me.......will sleep on it. |

Because he's in The Open this weekend.

Bets for the Open placed, all big £2 e/w wagers. Gone for:-
Rickie Fowler 33/1,
Mcdowell 35/1,
Garcia 35/1,
Oosthuizen 40/1,
Andres Romero 150/1
That top 5 would do me a treat |

Just when you need big Mick to do the business he goes and shoots a 73
Still......laid Westwood for the same amount and he looks to be struggling unless he shoots something low today. So I get out of this at SP as long as Westwood doesn't win but the serious bucks seem to be slipping away unless Phil shoots something like 65 today. Reading something what Monty said about Westwood made my mind up to lay him. Didn't realise that this was Westwood's final Open before he hits the big 4-0.......its all downhill from here for him in majors. |

Carl, Lefties record outside America is simply awful. I think hes only ever won one tournament outside the states.
Ive had a few quid on Els @50s to go against the tide of history age wise and win.
Couple of smaller interest bets on Zach Johnson @85s
Furyk @55s
Schwarzel @80s
hopefully get someone well placed into the weekend to do some business. _________________ never chop wood in a rubber dinghy |

Yeah I know what you mean but I wasn't backing him to win it......I thought there was a good chance that at 40-1 then he was more than good enough to get into contention at SOME stage of the event and then I could lay him back. I know he has been playing poorly recently but still felt the 40's was OK as a trade.
Like I said, I break even if Westwood fails to win it which looks pretty nailed on now and he was 13 shots behind the leader a while ago. |
