And here is an ESPN camera man.

Looking like a multi-millionaire probably has its advantages.

The last lady is gone - Sabyl Cohen has just been busted in 56th spot.
However, she does pick up $123,699 for her great effort.

Richard Gryko and Marc Friedman are all-in preflop. Gryko covers Friedman's $750,000. Gryko has AK and Friedman has TT. Rags on the board and Friedman doubles to $1,500,000. Gryko is down to $750,000.

I guess this guy is copying Chan's orange. I reckon we'll have a coconut on the table next year and a water melon by 2008.

In my Day 1D Roundup I wrote this:

One of the real lows of last years WSOP was the introduction of the absurd and, quite frankly, pathetic F-Bomb rule. I dont need to expand on my feelings here as Barny has summed up matters beautifully in his article F Is For Farce if you havent read it, you really must. The only thing worse than a bad rule is a bad rule which is haphazardly enforced. Thats whats happening this year, players are swearing (and loudly) and rarely if ever being penalised. Some players could be spending more time in the sin bin than at the tables if the dealers were taking notice. This is despite the announcement being made at the start of every tournament about it. I hope Im wrong but I have a horrible feeling that towards the end of the tournament when the ESPN cameras are rolling someone is going to be penalised and lose a huge amount of money as a result. I hope Im wrong and the floor has taken the active decision to drop the rule, despite the announcements to the contrary.

Sure enough, with the blinds now at 10,000/20,000 and antes of 3,000 with huge sums of money on the line, some poor bugger just got given a 10 minute penalty for non-abusive swearing.

Absolutely pathetic.

Richard Gryko out in 50th - $164,932.

Players on a 20 minute break, 1000s being coloured up. Play is allegedly being continued for 1 more (2 hour) level or until 45 players remain.

Blinds go up to 15/30K with 5K ante when they return from the break.
