There's a scene in a movie...woman walks into the sea and drowns whilst her little boy plays on the beach to the sound of the excellent Ruby Turner singing 'Stay With Me Baby'. Anyone know the film / the actress??
A part in the Unusual Suspects upcoming 'Omaha She Wrote' to anyone who can put me out of this mysery.
Thanks |

Son of a beach!
But since you mention it...
'When me n'Pam
Were hand in hand
We made a loverly pair
But we'd we fight
Her awful spite
Was more than I can bare'
4 jellies to anyone who can name that tune |

Its either Bette Midler, The Rose.
or the early version of "a Star Is Born"
and you have the wrong singer and possibly it was a man who drowns
Apart from that, you were spot on |

I believe it is the Director's Cut of ET, in which our hero's Mum waddles into the Sea of Tranquility while little 'E', as we call him rolls around on the fringes of stardom. Or maybe it was that bad acid I was doing around then....
do i get a jelly?

So good you said it twice Nat? You get a jelly for having natural breasts - You get a jelly for coming up with the name of the movie - You get a jelly for being drug free.
As you fulfill none of the criteria...no jellies for you pal. In consolation however, can I recommend you download Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Part 1(Flaming Lips). |

4 out of five Jellies Mr Regression...Kilburn and the Highroads was the band. A pre-blockheads Ian Dury the singer. The album contains other fine cockney poetry along the lines of..
Into the kitchen mavva

It 'asn't got no lard on.
