Yellow, ![]() Just noticed several members asking for the password. Did anyone get to play this tourney? JP No Both leagues are a bit of a shambles to be honest, 60 mins late reg in stars for a 2 table sng low stacked etc and no passwords , games missing etc. needs someone to operate the leagues. _________________ " The helicopter is changing direction" |

TO: mr4b and jeanpaul
We are all very grateful for these tournaments and the value you've added to them but it has to be said that the organisation and running of them is pretty bad! The 30 minutes late reg time is essential otherwise people take advantage and it spoils it for everyone. It also makes working out the leaderboard more difficult. It would be great for the tournaments to have bigger starting stacks (to enable more creative play) and for there to be different formats of the game included each month (e.g. Omaha and Omaha H/L, etc). I suggest that the PokerStars and Full Tilt forums are protected and are only accessible after one has logged-in (i.e. people who aren't members cannot view them). You could then create the tournaments on 'Stars and Tilt at the start of each month and then post the full list of tournaments in each forum along with their dates and passwords. This would cut down on weekly work for yourselves and make it easier for us players. You'd only have to post the password details once a month instead of once a week. You could still advertise the leagues but mention that they're only available to forum members. This could encourage more people to join the forum and lead to more posts and a larger community. Once again I thank you for the forum and the leagues but they are becoming very frustrating for us players. I have posted the above in a few threads to catch attention |

Apologies, I will make sure to pick up on this and organize better. If anyone has any other suggestions or requests please let us know. ![]() My thoughts are as follows: 1) I'm extremely grateful to the organisers and to Full Tilt (where I play) for the added value leagues. 2) As you're aware, the Full Tilt league game didn't take place on 13 Aug due to failure to publish the password. I can accept that anybody can make a mistake, but the same problem arose last month too! What reassurances can you give that there will be no repeat? What steps will you take to ensure the password is published on time? (I suggest say mr4b is responsible for publishing the password say 6 hours in advance, and say jeanpaul is responsible for checking it has been published say 3 hours in advance. That way the only way it would fail to be published is if BOTH of you cock up!) 3) I'm happy with the league structure and the points system. 4) Some players will want big stack games, but I don't. (I love my poker but I need my sleep!). As a compromise, maybe 1 big stack game per month? 5) Recent Full Tilt leagues have been NLHE each week except 1, with 1 being a Omaha variation. I think this is spot on. Again, many thanks. |

Are it still being 4 or 5 games for the leaderboard? And what are the standing so far? I don't know if a game already did run. 1 game did run, I came 3rd I think (_cheshlad_) and hazzy (late reg specialist) came 1st or 2nd. A Polish player was the other one in the top 3 IIRC. I presume it will be a 3-game league this time??? |

Ty Might be a good thing to give something like a point penalty for the late reg leaderboard abusers. A point penalty really isn't enough in the grand scheme of things. I'd either zero their points for that game or void their highest scoring week. |
