Dredd (new version) 9/10
Awesomeness, hoping for a sequel soon

Have you seen the raid redemption? Came out shortly before the new Dredd and is similar and better

Yeah I heard that, and yeah it may be better, but it ain't got Judge Dredd in it. Both must owe a big debt to die hard i reckon.

The Guard 10/10 and in my top 5
Very funny, a certain kind of irish humour that rings true, had me laughing out loud, again. The girlfirend liked it and she doesn't usually go for comedy. Great drama too, great characters, well acted.

watched a film last night called Compliance, True story based on a guy who rang fastfood joints in american and conned the staff into thinking he was a cop. bit of an odd film but very intriguing.

Shows that some Americans will believe anything!

The Artist. 9/10 silent movie and pretty much perfect

Red 2 6/10 not my sort of thing and a bit of a cliche fest and its depressing to see teddy Kgb in these sort of roles. Watchable if you have nothing else to do.

after earth. 7/10 not as terrible as i was expecting. acting was fairly solid though story a little unemotional for such a serious premise. With two great actors and more weighty script it could of been a classic. as it stands its not too bad.

Zombie Hunter 2/10

Another low budget zombie film, poor special effects, poor everything. Hoped Danny Trejo would rescue it, but alas, no.

Rush 8/10. Hate F1 but this is a very interesting is slightly disjointed story. fairly accurate given the long narrative of the subject matter. Supreme performances from the cast. I think Ron Howard will make a classic film soon. The cinematography is absolutely breath taking.

Gravity. 7/10 Very enjoyable and the opening sequences in HD are something to behold. The graphical representations are astonishing. The ever likeable clooney is exactly that and although bullocks botox is beginning to limit her acting range she puts in a solid performance. Although nowhere near as bleak and claustrophobic as the open water film it is well worth a watch.

silver linings playbook 7/10 surprisingly well written/acted almost edgy film. i really enjoyed it and the slightly glossy ending could not detract from a pretty superb film. de niro and and the hangover guy were superb and the hunger games girl was fairly good to. strong supporting cast. well worth a view.

Jackass Presents Bad grandpa 7/10 - Pretty solid all the way through with some stand out, laugh out loud moments. There is plenty of satire in there if you care to look but regardless, the kids beauty pageant will live with you for ever.
