With the super high roller tournaments such as the one drop and the huge first prize for the WSOP main event is there any point anymore players like seidel, negreanu and hellmuth all dropped down the list because esfandiari and sam trickett 1st and 2nd at the million one drop and there is another next year any one with enough money to enter could end up at the top of the list.

Although I see the point being made I would still want to see an all time money list. Cool

Well the Hendon Mob has lists that take those issues into account anyway- i.e there is a list that excludes invite only tournaments are those with a buy in of over 50k:

even an ROI list would cause the same problem a satellite qualifier wins the main event top of list moneymaker would probably still be there for his $39!

Great list haven't seen that it's like a true reflection of recent brilliance, now all it needs is an adjuste for inflation and we will know who is truly the best ever.

There will never be ROI for live tournaments because there is no record of who played what. someone did publish an all time list for WPTs a while back which was pretty interesting!

Of course there is a point to the all time money list, it is the all time money list Wink

There are many variations and options in the rankings section on THM.com and there are also many more rankings that have been tailor made for certain clubs and certain people as well. If you wanted a 'Females that live in Florida with surnames starting with S for holdem tournaments up to $100 buyin' it can be done. I once asked for an English players in English tournaments to be made as it was the only way that I could manipulate a list to have me top Wink

http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/ranking/422

The interesting thing about this list:
http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/rank....t&page=3#2230

is that Sam Trickett is 223rd. Behind English players Neil Channing, John Gale, Jake Cody, Ram, Devilfish, Surinder Sunar and Roland

but he is 1st by miles in England all time:
http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/ranking/201/1#10

Antonio is just 71st as opposed to number one in the all time money list:
