its hard to see how spurs could put a case to keep him. no champions league. poor squad. wont win anything. when the big clubs come knocking like united, real, barca, who in their right mind would stay.

I think yes, but the transfer window is open past the first day of the season isn't it?

MOD FIGHT!

If I remember playground etiquette, we must now circle around them, goading them both into doing something neither wants, and both will regret.

He'll still be there imo. Not many clubs can afford him and doubt he's going to France. So that leaves Real, Barca, Manchester Utd + City or Chelsea.

Unless Real or Barca stump up big cash, I reckon he'll stay at Spurs, then again I also think Baines and Fellaini will stay at Everton (New vote maybe Very Happy )

I think he wants to stay at Spurs, but it seems Levy has the last word on transfers. So if a world record comes in from someone can Levy just dismiss it ? of course not.

80million + ..you have to sell, seeing as he'll proberly leave next season anyway.

I think he'll be a Spurs player this season.

Its the reason i did the poll nem
I had a truckload of bets with people at the end of last season after we failed to qualify for the CL that he would still be wearing a spurs shirt on opening day
What with the recent stuff in the papers im getting jittery and wondered what the consensus of opinion was.
Personally i think he will go shortly rather than later but not before opening day of new PL hence my bets, looks like the jury is out looking at the poll

Sky sport understands doesn't mean a bid has been made. Find me quotes from Spurs confirming the bid...

Also I will add that La Marca pontificate as much as it likes. It can make up headlines galore, and if our press want to believe it and get in on the act then fine.

The old adage is Silence is Golden. If Daniel Levy continues to keep his own counsel then the press have nothing to feed off but their own utterings.

When DL makes his contribution everyone will pay attention.

Winners here are DL and of course GB for the publicity - his star is certainly rising, and the more press, the higher the selling price.
