It would be funny if it were not for all those unfortunate people who have not been able to access their money for several weeks.

Not only that, any polite enquiry as to exactly what is going on is met with blunt rudeness or, on the case of a forum post, deleted.

Things seem to have taken a turn for the worse today.

Until yesterday the Gutshot forum was described on its website as being owned by Appollo Assets Limited. The directors of that company are Ben Slater and Lisa Martin. Barry Martin was a director until he resigned last year.

The website is now showing as being owned by Nucla N.V., presumably a Dutch registered company.

Barry, you and Alex read the Hendonmob Forum every day. May I invite either of you to explain to all those unfortunate people seeking information about their deposits when they will be able to access them?

They seem to be back up and running now. Even more miraculously, their support guys have re-appeared on the forum now there are (less) awkward questions for them to hide from.

Anyone managed to get their money off yet?

Despite the client supposedly up and running it is still not working properly. I've tried depositing small amounts to check to see if it is safe and all 3 times the client failed to ackowledge receipt of payment, despite the funds having left my Neteller account.

Today I have waited over 8 hours for my money to appear so I can play, but despite 2 e-mails and 2 posts on their forum, my money still remains somewhere in limbo with no sign of anyone at Gutshot giving a toss.

You might be able to change location, upgrade software, but it seems Gutshot can't seem to get grips with basic fundamentals, such as testing things before allowing customers to use them and operating a decent, efficient customer services. Which is aside from taking people's money and not allowing them access to it, which is disgraceful. There are no excuses for the catalogue of mismanagement that this site has shown over the last 4 months.

I was the one who started banging the drum, on 14th August, about the Gutshot scandal. This site has clearly gone rogue.

I tried warning people. It is a pity that the players and journalists who count on the UK scene did not [as far as I know] add their voices to mine. It might have stopped the previous poster sending his money down what I suspect is a very dark and deep hole indeed.

Mark well also the fate of Gutshot member 'Darcus'- check out his posts on their forum, before the Gutshot management take them down.

Firstly i want to say i really hope you dont end up losing money but i have to ask...why on earth would you be so set in your ways that you still want to "try" and deposit money on this skin when youve been warned in advance that even if you manage to get it on there. Theres even a greater chance that you're going to struggle to get it off
Im scratching my head here
Its not like there isnt a choice out there of reliable reputable Poker clients/companies
Its similar to saying something like.. theres 76 roads into a certain Ugandan village and if i use this one theres a high chance im gonna get messed about by bandits and no gooders and the other 75 roads are trouble free yet you continue to use that road because you're "used to going that way"
Think

Because I know Barry Martin and I know he's not a thief - he might be a bad businessman who doesn't listen to anyone else and makes bad decisions, but not dishonest.
