Why was she arguing with hookers?
Vicky would start a fight in an empty room, but leaving that aside here's why she's wrong: Vanessa Selbst played the women's event. Now, did Vanessa Selbst play the women's event for a cosy chat and a game of whist or did she intend to crush the easy money and flirt with the hotties? |

These people are not right for poker. they will be broke soon enough.
you have to make it fun so people still want to make what is a voluntary donation.
if its becomes a chore people give up and no more money or worse they spend their life getting better reducing your chances of having an edge.
I dont believe in blaming their youth. The truth is they are c**ts and they will be c**ts when they are older and i have run into many old c**nts at the vegas poker table. It does gets less though as being a c**ts means you have a much greater chance of going broke.
After busting one particular massive c**t i asked him why he was such a C**t he answered,walking off, i am not here to make friends, i am here to make money. I simply retorted 'you are incapable of making either, now **** off'.
Thats a slightly revisionist account as i have subtracted the aggression we had in the discussion but the point was still made.
I dont believe in womens only events but i think while they are there they should be respected. particularly in a place designed to alleviate you of your hard-earned and make you smile while they do it.

My guess is we won't see any male enter the ladies' event who isn't a straight white male. Anybody who has any kind of 'minority' experience understands this event.
The only way I could see of most probably dissuading the 'c***ts' would be for the event to change the prizes - cashers agree to give a certain % of their winnings to a charity of their choice. I think even if it was 20% or even more, the ladies would still play. Bit more paperwork for the WSOP but the good PR would probably offset that.
This has me thinking, would a 'Beginners Event' be legal? Only those who have never entered a WSOP event could play? Seems to me that might entice a lot of new players.

Just balance it with a men only event and it wouldn't be a problem. I guess (some of ) the male entrants are just taking in issue with the one way equality being demonstrated here.

The intended point of a deluded person isn't very important. The actual point is Vicky says she likes the vibe of playing with people who don't want to f**k her and take her money, but then ignores the ruthless professionals in the field who would do a much better job of it. It was a pretext to start a fight, nothing more. |

lol surely you don't believe that, he clearly entered cause he thought it would be a softer field

It's not a struggle for emancipation, just a clear angle shoot. However, I'm all in favour of these events, can't see a downside of more women being involved in poker. plus, it makes it easier to spot the complete tools. |

Firstly, why dont the WSOP just man up and not allow the men in.
Secondly, it is supposed to be about equality but it is not. It is not equal as there is no male only event.
I personally would not enter a birds event, cos it just aint right. BUT How about somebody that is desperate to play a WSOP event, can afford $1k but not $1.5k.
Two easy solutions, BAN men (There must be a "Reserve the Right to kick you out" clause as in most establishments) and make it $1.5k, then there are no arguments and we really can all call this Brandon bloke exactly what he is.

Because that would be discrimination, and you're not allowed to discriminate by sex, race, colour or creed.
Perhaps they should just make it a non-bracelet event, see if that helps.
