yea that what i was saying that 3-1 seems a little short for them. germany did have an easier group though.

I have had 2 early bets for tomorrow though -
£270 on Germany to beat Portugal @ 11/10
Odds against for the potential winners against the massively overrated and out of form Portugal ?! Germany -1AH @ 3.10 is massive too but as it's the first game for them in the competition, I'm going to stay conservative and take the win only.
£250 on over 2.5 goals Netherlands v Denmark @ 43/40
This is a bit more of a punt as Denmark aren't very good but the Dutch could clear this themselves and odds against is too good to pass up in my opinion. The Dutch are awful in defence and I could see a 3-1 scoreline here so going with the value...
I will possibly do more tomorrow but will give it some more thought... |
Having given it some more thought, I've also had £250 on Germany -1AH @ 3.1 |

RoPS are miles better than Jippo and should win by 2 or more comfortably |

Seems to be 3.350 (unless I'm looking at the wrong thing... Germany -1 in the alternative asian handicap?)

| Really interesting couple of games today... If Netherlands could shoot it would have been a really good day but I'll take a profit. Portugal played better than they've done for ages but still can't seem to find a striker who can score... |

New running total - £3,009
Today i've had £300 on over 2 goals (asian) in Spain v Italy @ 1.95
On the face of it Spain specialise in low scoring wins but Italy generally do very well against them and with 2 suspect defences I think this is a low risk play. Spain @ 10/11 was tempting but Italy have a habit of producing surprises when least expected. |

Annoying - I had 2-1 Spain in the prediction comp too so Fernando is definitely off my Xmas card list ! Still - no harm done financially...
Today, I've had £300 on over 2.5 goals in the Ukraine v Sweden match @ 27/20.
I'm not entirely sure where these odds have come from as both have good attacks and suspect defences. They played out a low scoring friendly aginast each other last year which is my only concern but all bar one of Sweden’s games in qualifying went over 2.5 (and 4 of their last 5 friendlies – the only one not going over in the boiling hot conditions in Bahrain) and 9 of the last 12 games for Ukraine have too. |
