The Irish Tour 2012
The Irish Tour is a truly Irish poker tour operating over 4 legs and a Grand Final, the aim of the tour is to give every poker player of all levels the chance to play in a professionally run large entry poker tournament for a relatively low buy-in, yet offering an excellent 3 day structure, EACH Leg comes with a GUARANTEED 30,000 MAIN EVENT PRIZEPOOL
The season schedule is as follows:
Leg 1The Western Open 1st 4th March
Main Event Buy-in 300 (260+40)
The Breaffy House Resort, Castlebar, Co. Mayo
Leg 2 The Eastern Open 3rd 6th May
Main Event Buy-in 300 (260+40)
The Regency Hotel, Whitehall, Dublin 9
Leg 3 The Southern Open 30th August 2nd September
Main Event Buy-in 300 (260+40)
Venue TBC
Leg 4 The Northern Open 4th 7th October
Main Event Buy-in 300 (260+40)
The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dundalk, Co. Louth
The Grand Final 29th November 2nd December
Main Event Buy-in 600 (540+60)
Venue TBC
The 4 Legs will be complimented with some nice side events so each schedule will be as follows:
Thursday
8.00 p.m Super Satellite 25+5 reg, unlimited 25 rebuys and a 25 top-up at end of level 3.
Friday
6.00p.m Main Event 30,000 Guaranteed entries taken up to end of level 3
Saturday
1.00 p.m Main Event - Day 2
4.00 p.m Side Event 1 - 150 (Incl 25 reg) entries taken up to end of level 3
9.00 p.m Turbo Satellite 50+10 1 ticket to any Irish Tour leg for every 300 in prize pool
Sunday
1.00 p.m Main Event - Day 3
2.00 p.m Side Event 1 Day 2
3.00 p.m Side Event 2 - 120 (Incl 20 reg) Entries take up to end of Level 3
7.00 p.m Turbo 50+10 Entries taken up to end of level 4
Added Value Players League
The Irish Tour is also adding value for
the players with the introduction of a player league, all players who reach the money in any of the events will be awarded points for the league based on their finishing position and cash prize, in order to qualify for the league you must have participated in at least one of the legs. (Full details of the league structure coming soon)

1st Prize
League Trophy
Entry into the 4 Legs of The Irish Tour plus the Grand Final for 2013
Total Value 1,800
2nd Prize
Entry into the 4 Legs of The Irish Tour 2013
Total Value 1,200
3rd Prize
Entry into 2 Legs of The Irish Tour 2013
Total Value 600
These prizes are being added by The Irish Tour and are not withheld from the prize pools of the tournaments.
Grand Final
A Full schedule of events for The Irish Tour Grand Final will be announced soon.
The Structure
The structure remains the same for the Main Event and 2 Side Events, the Blind level timings and Starting Stacks are as follows:
Main Event: 60 Minute Levels - 15,000 Starting Stack
Side Event 1: 40 Minute Levels 10,000 Starting Stack
Side Event 2: 30 Minute Levels 10,000 Starting Stack

Hope this is in the right section.
The first event kicks off this day week, a good few English based players travelled to Castlebar last year including Neil Channing and were hoping for a similar invasion this time round.

| Most likely it will be in the Limerick/Clare region, there is already a lot on in Killarney but I would not rule it out. |

Momentum building for this event in Dublin.
Loads of live sat winners last weekend and plenty more scheduled for next weekend. |
