Official end of year weigh in:
15st 0.6lb or
95.5kg
I have 2 weeks until I return to uni, there I intend to hit the gym 3 to 4 times per week, eat a bit healthier and maybe cut down on the beer (sorry Jon!).
Target weight for 16th March (the day I break up from Uni):
16 stone
or 101.5kg.
Hopefully in that time, I'll have had my knee operation and when I get back, I can get my thighs back to the size they were making my 17st/110kg goal for end of the year VERY realistic.
Here's to 2012! |

I'm going to attempt to shed the flab this year and get down to just being morbidly obese. I'm off to Sri Lanka at the end of March for the cricket so thats the aim. Probably won't last but best intentions and all that! |
Well, I actually joined a gym yesterday, so heres hoping I stick to it, I'm going to do an official weigh in on the 3rd Jan when my membership starts, and I'll keep this thread update with my weigh in's.
Plan is, cut down on booze, bread and general shyte food, plus some cardio excercise and the weight flys off, here goes nothing! |

Official weigh in before was a shameful 18st 6lbs. So after a christmas on the ale and junk food I'm half a stone worse off than what I thought my starting point was going to be
First day of my diet today, and 1st day in the gym tommorow. It's a marathon (or snickers ) not a sprint so here goes nothing! |

My suggestion for getting fit.... get drunk, browse the internet, apply for London marathon cos it seems like a good idea, its a 6-1 shot so not much chance. Then wait till October and find out you were sucessful. I'm now running 4 times a week and do about 25 miles a week. The weight is falling off me.
Shameless plug if anyone fancies making a donation. I'm running on behalf of Demelza childrens hospices and a donation is but a click away.

2nd day at the gym. Some of the equipment has tv screens and you can pick your channel. Have timed it right to see Judge Judy while on the treadmill. |

Good Start Indy, I've been the gym twice and going tommorow, and stuck to diet so far. This is my first totally booze free weekend in a long long time (totally bored now) but at least Everton cheered me up with a totally drab performance today |

Quick Question...
you know them Whey products (body builders etc) can u use this as a weight loss substance? im googling but not finding clear definitive answers.
like for example if i was to replace breakfast and lunch with 2 shakes of whey and maybe have a healthy dinner
or replace all 3 meals a day ? |

Whey protein shouldn't be used as a meal replacement.
However, meal replacement protein shakes can be. |
