You're soooo right David. As a journalist I once had the very great pleasure of interviewing the person who 'played' Big Bird. However, despite my piece being for an adult audience, he refused to come out of character on the grounds that BB is a real BB to the viewers. Awesome programme, the best ever TV series until The Simpsons imho.

Growing up, I always thought journalists ran around war zones, subtley insulted politicians and took an awful lot of drugs.

If I'm to believe these forums, journalists really go on celebrity poker shows and interview fictitious children's TV characters... Why did nobody tell me this before I picked a non-journalistic degree?
