Well done on an excellent tournament. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, including Madd Marty's speed pool tournament . Who won the £50f/o, Gary?
My exit hand left me not complaing about a bad-beat, but what I considered a slow-roll. Would be interested to hear if people think I am over-reacting. Starting stack of 10k, I was down to approx 6k, with blinds at 150/300, average was approx 12000. I am in middle-position and look down at . I raise to 900, BB calls(stack 15000aprox). Flop comes down and the BB leads out for 1900. I am suspicious of this as he MAY have hit big and hoping for me to reraise and get a big-pot. This said, with my stack I'm not folding AK on a K high board. I announce that I'm all-in.. Big blind dwells... says 'i dont think i can lay this hand down' thinks some more.. I'm thinking I'm good here if he hasn't snap-called with my stack size.. Eventually he calls and shows Thanks for coming. There isn't a chance in hell he is laying a set down IMO so why the dwell up? Anyhow it gave me something to complain about other than a bad beat
Congrats to the winners _________________ 'Impatience for victory only guarantees defeat' - Louis XIV |

think you are over reacting
depends on his read of you as well, if he thought you were tight then taking a moment to see how confident you looked isn't out of order
it isn't impossible for you to have KK or JJ, would still be a very tough laydown and while most people would snap call I don't think you can complain if they don't |
