With the blinds at 4k/8k it havn't taken long to lose are our first player,

With Kevin Twigg limping in mid positon, George Achillea pushed on the button for 42k

Andrew Wayman thinks for a moment before moving all in and Kevin folds.

Andy's ASpades KHearts vs George's 4Spades 4Clubs

the board was unkind to George with his 4's being crack on a double pair board and Andy's ace was good.

With John "Jim Jam" Charalambous, Billy "Steels" James and George Achillea all freerolling in to the Comp tonight.

Billy and Jim Jam both earned seats for this via our cash race having got over the 70 points needed for the seats.

And George Achillea winning his seat for a free raffle we did where the next person to win showing pocket 6's got in for free,

With two of the three freerollers still in would be nice to pick up 10k for a free seat.

With A raise pre For Billy "Steels" James and a flat call from Kirit Patel

The Flop Comes down 7 Spades 6 Spades 7 Hearts

Billy bets 50k into an 82k pot Kirit thinks about it for a while then passed.

Billy takes it down, and he is being to be a dad with in weeks.

With over an hour and a half of heads up play we are no closer to finding a winner here.

The Chip lead is swinging between the two players,

With Nico Flavio hitting a middle pin straight on the turn to crack Andrew's top pair.

Blinds are now 15k/30k.......

Who will win????????

This was a great night at the club. We played a new structure with increasing blind levels, and this seemed to give loads of play when it was needed most. The final table average stack had 30 BB, and allowed a 4 hour final table with 90 mins heads up.

No event is built only on the structure, we have a great team of staff at the club, waitressess, bar staff, floor staff and of course, dealers! All the team members worked hard and were a credit to themselves and the club. I would like to thank them all and tell them that I am proud of them all!

The next Rags to Riches event will be on the monday bank holiday after christmas, 27th December at 6pm. 10,000 guaranteed to the winner. Estimated prize pool 25,000.

Thanks to the 110 players that played the event! I hope you enjoyed the 3705 of added money!
