Would like some opinions on this hand i played online please...
It was a 50-$1 cash game and i was sat with about $100
I was on the BB with QQ and it was folded round to the SB which made it $3 (sitting with about $120)
I made it $7 ( poor raise i know, but hey) and SB makes it $15 and i call
Flop... K K 5 rainbow
SB bets $15......
Now what do you do?
I will reveal the outcome of the hand after a few posts
Just really interested on what players would do in this situation
Thanks |

| BB v SB, I think I'd be 5betting PF and snap calling a push. |

He's bet half the pot. A min raise in my opinion would tell you all you needed to know. If he pushes, fold. If he calls, it will probably check down to the river and you'll see his pocket jacks (or queens! lol). If he has a hand like AQ, he'll probably fold. If he has AA or AK, I imagine he would check the turn and bet the river.
It is a tricky spot though. Is he the sort of player would lead out with top set and no draws on board (if he had AK for instance). Or is he the sort of player would would make a probing bet on the flop? With all the pre-flop action, I doubt he has pocket 5's |

This. But in the month before it you have to have 3-bet and 4-bet often enough to ensure a lot of action, to make it a snap call instead of a small time-down
OP didn't say why he just called preflop - he's generally either set mining against a certain KK+AKs type range, or slow playing.
If slow-playing against 9T-type hands, I'd call. _________________ http://www.alexbowler.com |

Ok to continue the story..............
He bet $15 on the flop and i push all in and he calls with KK
BLOODY QUADS
I thought he played this hand really well, not too many people bet out 50% of the pot with quads imo.
The reason i pushed all in is because i think the SB would bet $15 with JJ or 1010 so i was hoping this is what he had. ( i know he would make the same bet with AA)
Thanks for your opinions guys |

I see quads dealt there every 200 hands or so. _________________ Fortune favours only the prepared mind!
