Guys -

Initially we think we must shove here because we need the double up, its A10s and we may even be happy to gamble - but on closer inspection we can potentially find better positions and ag ...

The clue here (imo) is why he showed you the A each time. If he is tight and doesn't want you to think that he is stealing, then you should possibly fold to his shove the next time.

If you think h ...

You are most welcome.

I think there is a danger of taking an unconventional play from one player and extrapolating it to the rest of the field.

If you want, PM me your Skype details and I will ...

In my opinion, overbetting in this specific spot is just trouble. You either get raised by a better hand or everyone folds. An overbet here serves the purpose of finding out if someone has a better ...

The problem with making up the small blind and hoping to hit with weak holdings is that you do not really know what he holds, so you are forcing yourself to call down with top pair kind of hands, whic ...

Hand is dead, player is at fault for not protecting his own interests.

Simple way of not getting done like this:

"Show or muck, sir"

What are people's thoughts on 4betting to something like 3875 and folding to a shove? I think this is my default line here (without history - a 4b looks super strong)

I would certainly flat and see three cards in position. AA is not good on most flops and people know this.

I would certainly flat if there was an aggressive 3bettor, I would flat with the intentio ...

I do not think you are priced in vs UTG+1s opening range. I would fold preflop. I would call if the hand was suited or I had a suited connector.

The reverse implied odds just make this call unp ...

Same as Monty. Never folding, 3b slightly larger.

Might flat if the table is squeeze happy, but that is such a high variance play.

I would min/call when UTG.

I would consider open shoving the button as it looks very weak, you might pick up a caller with Ax or a lower pair.

JJ is pretty much the same as TT. QQ is super interesting and is probably a combination of personal style and in game flow/observation.

With that being said, I would *personally* 4b/call the shove ...
