Fun in the Sun – the Caribbean Poker Tour is Calling

In November the rain slowly turns into snow and it is getting dark by far earlier, not really motivating for a grind at the poker tables when you look outside of the window. An optional Re-Entry is possible for the second starting day and the winner not only earns a nice payday but additionally the entry to the Season XII WPT World Championship in May 2014 that has recently been moved from Las Vegas to the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City / New Jersey.

German Pro and Highroller expert Tobias Reinkemeier has designed the structure of the $ 6,800 + 200 Lucky Number 7 High Roller Event from November 22nd to 24th. The 7max tournament offers late registration until the start of Level 5 and Re-Entries throughout Day 1, there will be no juice on the Re-Entries and the initial tournament fee will be donated to charity. On November 24th the Highroller Champion will be crowned and this date also marks the Final Table of the WPT Main Event as well.

A few days ago, the World Poker Tour has also confirmed that the WPT Caribbean 2013 will be one of twelve televised main tour events that later airs on the Foxsports Network. As a result, WPT cast members including Vince Van Patten and the WPT Royal Flush Girls Ivy Teves and Tugba Ercan will travel to “The Friendly Island". Especially the rather short distance to North America makes it the perfect destination for players from the USA and Canada. Thus you can expect many GPI500 players as part of the line up and also draft your team in the Fantasy Poker Manager.

The Caribbean Poker Tour isn't just about poker though, the daily tournament schedule doesn't start until 4pm and the participants can take full advantage of the sandy beaches as well as plentiful of outdoor and sports activities.
