My Poker Diary

9 - Charts

Select Charts under My Stats, and you will see a screen like this :-

This displays the charts for your selected sessions. (This example is for a selection of all Cash Games. If, at any time, you want to view the charts for a different set of sessions, just hit New Selection, make a new selection of sessions, and then return to the Charts screen.)

Selecting Charts

On initial entry, the first available chart (Profit/Loss per session) is displayed in small size. Click the Large radio button to redisplay the chart in large size. Select any chart from the drop down menu to display that chart.

Types of Chart

There are three types of chart :-

  • Line Graphs - used to plot values per session or over time
  • Bar Charts - used to show accumulated values from sessions by characteristic
  • Pie Charts - used to show values from sessions as percentages

Some examples of charts

What do all the charts mean?

Most of the chart titles are self-explanatory. Refer back to the previous page ('Analysis') for a discussion of the Averages and of Standard Deviation.

Saving a Chart

The charts themselves are generated by the Poker Diary with encoded names. To save one, right-click on it, select Save Picture As..., give it a file name which means something to you (if you wish) and save it to your preferred local directory.

That's all!
