7 - Selecting Sessions

Click the Select Sessions option under My Stats on the side menu. A form comes up like this :-

Again, there are a lot of symbols on this form. You can click on these to pop up the online help for that form field. We will give the explanations here :-

• Date - Input dates in the format dd-MMM-yy e.g. 27-Dec-02, 03-Jan-03. The calendar symbol will pop up a calendar for easy selection of dates.

• Time - Select hours, minutes and am/pm from the dropdown boxes. You can pick times at 15 minute intervals. (Remember 12 noon is 12:00pm and 12 midnight is 12:00am!)

• Online, Live, and Game(s) - You can select one or more of the venues or games in each list.

  To make multiple selections, click on the names while holding down CTRL or SHIFT.

Sample Selections  

Let's select all cash games at Prima Poker.

To do this, check the box next to Online, select the radio button for Or selection and click on Prima Poker. Then check the boxes next to Cash Games (with stakes) and Cash Games (with buy-in). Leave the radio buttons next to both of these selected at All.

Hit Select and the List Sessions screen will be redisplayed, with your selection :-

Experiment at will; try selecting all games at Prima Poker AND at BugsysClub; all games played with stakes between 1 and 2 units; all games with a profit of between 0 and 20 units, etc.

What if I want to make a very simple selection?  

Then use the Quick Select option. This is on the side menu under My Stats and also on the Select Sessions form itself, at the top.

Each option here does exactly what it says, and you can only select one option at a time. Experiment with it and see what you get.

Can I look at some charts now?  

Almost. On the next page we will look at the Analysis screen, and explain the various figures that are used in the charts themselves.
