My Poker Diary

5 - Viewing Sessions

Currently your Poker Diary has just one session in it. Enter a few more with different characteristics until it looks something like this.

Sorting the List

Clicking the highlighted table headings will sort the table by that field (when, where, etc). Clicking the same field a second time will re-sort the table in reverse order.

E.g. click P/L twice, and you get the same table sorted in order of profit and loss, worst to best :-

Other Options

Delete - does exactly what it says; deletes the selected session. (NB! You will get a pop-up box to confirm that you really want to delete the session. So you can't delete it by accident.)

Edit - edits the session (see previous page).

View - shows the whole session, in a pop-up window (see the page before that!).

Can I download my sessions to my computer and analyse them on something else?

Yes. On this page and the My Stats : List Selected page (which we'll see next) there is a Download as CSV option - this will download all your sessions to your computer as a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. This will open in Excel or almost any other spreadsheet program. This is so you can take your Poker Diary sessions and analyse them offline in your own spreadsheets or programs if you wish.

Can I print my sessions out?

Yes. At the bottom left of every page on My Poker Diary you will see the print this page button. Just click it to send the entire page to your printer.

Can I look at some charts now?

Soon. Next we'll look at My Stats, and how to select the sessions you want to analyse.
